The Registrar of Institute Of Global Peace And Conflict Management Abuja, Ambassador Joshua Tarhule conferred a FELLOW of the Institute on Rt. Hon. Abubakar Yahaya Kusada, who is a two times member of the federal house of representatives representing Kusada Machi federal constituency of Katsina State at the national assembly, Abuja.
The induction and certification ceremony took place Monday 9th September, 2024 at Borcelona hotel, Abuja.
According to the Registrar, Ambassador Tarhule, Rt. Hon. Kusada alongside many other inductees were charged to be representatives of the Institute at their various states, piloting the affairs of the Institute in their states.
He further tasked them (inductees) to champion the crusade of pursuing and implementing the aims and objectives of the Institute in their respective states.
Fielding questions from journalists, the newly awarded FELLOW Of the Institute, Rt. Hon. Kusada on how he feels about the conferment and his message to the Institute, he said, “I’m Rt. Hon.Abubakar Yahaya Kusada. I’m a member representing Manchi Kusada federal constituency of Katrina State.
“I feel happy and very grateful for the organizers of this Fellowship Award and it will go a long way in ensuring the peace in our communities and Nigeria at large.
“The expectation is that we give our maximum contributions to ensure that there is peace everywhere; not only in our communities, not only in Nigeria, but in the whole world.
“My message is; I’m very grateful to them and I encouraged them to continue exploring most of the potential people that can be honoured and those who contributed their quarter in ensuring that there is peace in the country”, he advised.

Abubakar Yahaya Kusada before coming to the national assembly was a Speaker of Katsina State House of Assembly and now a vibrant ranking member of the federal house of representatives, who is highly respected by his colleagues in the Green Chamber of the Federal Parliament.
