HON SESOO IKPAGHER CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY IN LOW KEY STYLE, CALLS ON NIGERIANS TO HAVE FAITH IN PRESIDENT BOLA TINUBU’S RENEWED HOPE AGENDA.Hon Sesoo Ikpagher, the Honourable Member representing Konshisha/Vandeikya Federal Constituency of Benue State in the House of Representatives marked his birthday in a low key fashion at the National Assembly Complex on the 10th September 2024 as he soberly emphathized with Nigerians undergoing the present economic downturn which he attributed to previous decades of mismanagement by past administrations. However, an optimistic Hon Ikpagher enjoined Nigerians to have faith in the administration of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and his Renewed Hope Agenda which will definitely take the nation to greater heights in the near future. According to Hon Sesoo Ikpagher: ‘Normally today is meant to hold a special place in my heart being my birthday but l don’t feel too good because of what the people l am representing and Nigerians in general are going through. The plight of the average Nigerian today is not worthy of celebration, so to me today is more like a birthday remembrance than a birthday celebration. However I believe that what we are going through today is the end result of a system that has decayed over a long period of time, the system has suffered internal decay and the negative symptoms are just appearing now. So we need to have faith in the policies and programs of the administration of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and the Renewed Hope Agenda which will take us to greater heights. Surely, by the special grace of God, the economy of the country will get better in due time.A gratified Hon Sesoo Ikpagher also applauded the House Speaker, Rt Hon Tajudeen Abbas, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume and the Governor of Benue State, Rev Father Hyacinth Alia: ‘His Excellency, Rt Hon Tajudeen Abbas has done marvellously well. His leadership style is inclusive, accommodating and open to all persons, opinions, ideas and perspectives irrespective of ethnic, religious or partisan affiliations. The Hon Speaker is carrying not just the Honourable Members but the whole Nigerian people along in his pragmatic and people-oriented Legislative Agenda. Rt Hon Tajudeen Abbas and the entire House leadership are doing very well and we believe that with the general support and loyalty of the Nigerian people, the sky will be their limit, God willing. His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Dr George Akume is my father, my mentor, my benefactor and l owe him my inestimable gratitude and loyalty as he is the one that gave me the privilege to serve at the federal level in the National Assembly. Also I have deep respect for our state governor, His Excellency, Rev Father Hyacinth Alia and l am representing his constituency in the National Assembly. That is all l have to say.
