Labour Party in Enugu State has made itself queer. The image of the party in Enugu State is in contradistinction to the ideals for which Peter Obi is celebrated. These are disgruntled politicians adroit in sophistic demagoguery; whose every bad breath and the stench thereof breathe shameless lies to sway public sentiments with false allegations and deceit. If it be the Labour wherein Obi is harboured, then they who want to ride on the wave crest Peter stirred, his credibility, should at least try to emulate Obi in character and in every true sense of the image of sincerity and pragmatic demonstration of integrity and character Peter Obi represents.
Unfortunately, the coterie of desperate runaway politicians that people the party presently in Enugu State, if anything, is a disservice to Peter Obi himself. They are a complete antithesis to all there is about Obi. Their sense of Obidient is warped and unsavoury.
They are liars! They have no truth in them. Otherwise, how could anyone accuse the PDP and the Ugwuanyi administration of having engineered the attack and disruption of Labour Party meetings at Awgu? A video clip making the rounds on social media had shown who was responsible for that attack. It evidently showed that IPOB members owed it up. But the media goons and minions of the Labour Party and whoever flies their tickets in Enugu State had gone singing all over social media like the folksy griots they are, claiming that the Ugwuanyi administration and the PDP were responsible for the attacks. It should be borne in mind that the incidence of the attacks took place the same day the zonal meeting of the PDP was disrupted at Awgu where the zonal chairman of the party and others were attacked. Does it mean PDP could not, like Labour, have whipped sentiments and accused Labour Party and its governorship candidate of masterminding the attacks? Why does Labour Party prefer propaganda and false allegations to issue-based campaigns?
The candidate of the PDP, Barr. Peter Mbah, has demonstrated maturity and utter commitment to the interrogated questions of the development of the state. At no time had Peter joined issues with anyone nor sponsored calumniation against anyone, even during the build up to the primaries up untill now, despite provocations. Peter had, like a wise gentleman he is, held his peace and looked at the brighter side of the question devoid of rancour and damaging diatribes. Peter is concerned with thinking out the best way to consolidate the achievements of Governor Ugwuanyi as a spring board to his many value propositions and disruptive transformation agenda.
Governor Ugwuanyi himself is a man of peace. Even his bitterest enemy would concede that to him. Ugwuanyi avoids violence as one would a hot iron. He has shown to possess the capacity to contain opposition and this has been abused by many who thought to exploit that which they had misconstrued as weakness and then pour in stupid fury acerbic terms on the performing executive governor of Enugu State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, who has pragmatically demonstrated capacity on all fours.
Governor Ugwuanyi’s achievements in the creation of peace and security in Enugu State, within a country ravaged by insecurity, has international acclamation and has earned him many awards. It is apparently clear to anyone that Governor Ugwuanyi abhors such violence as mischievously attribute to the PDP and his administration, following the disruption of Labour meeting at Awgu. Labour is obviously pointing to the wrong direction. They know it very well but would prefer the mischief of curious false allegations.
Must politics flow through the barrel of propaganda? Must you raise false allegations against anyone with whom you contest an election? This has been your character since your desperate aspiration to rule Enugu State.Why would you sponsor defaming articles against your opponents. Why? Labour why?
The good news is that PDP is coasting to victory as Enugu people can see through the ruse employed by Labour Party to decoy them to the woods. The people are in tune with the Ugwuanyi administration which has delivered and continued to deliver the dividends of good governance to the Enugu citizenry. So, as water would over a duck’s back, so would the lies of Enugu Labour perish. The Lord into whose hands Enugu State is committed will vindicate Ugwuanyi and the PDP and reward the party with the success of all its candidates in Enugu State at the polls. Everlasting King of Glory shall frustrate the token of liars(Enugu Labour Party), for He is the Lord who frustrates the signs of the babblers, and drives diviners mad; the Lord who turns those wise in their own eyes backward and makes their knowledge foolishness ( See Isaiah 45:25).
The Almighty God who made Enugu the gift of Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi will do a new thing. He will cause His face to shine upon Enugu State yet again. The adversaries to our open doors of prosperity in this state who want to deny Enugu the prospect of economic prosperity embodied in the Peter Mbah/Ifeanyi Ossai governorship ticket of the PDP in Enugu State shall be taken away politically. If the new thing consists in evil tongues of lies cleaving to the roof of their mouths, may the Most High be glorified in our testimony.Using lies to curry public sentiments is a failed tool in their hands. They failed before and they shall fail again.
