Abuja, Sept. 21, 2025 (NAN) The Tunisian Consortium for Africa Development (TUCAD) has appointed Hon. Ahmed Shuaibu Gara Gombe as its Representative in Nigeria.
Gombe is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Green White Green Sports Center Ltd.
TUCAD said the appointment aims to boost development in sectors such as water, energy, roads, schools, health and marine telecommunications.
It said the partnership would support project evaluation, feasibility studies and funding.
These efforts are expected to improve infrastructure and living conditions in Nigeria and across Africa.
Gombe is also the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Athletes and Other Sports Development Initiative.
The NGO promotes accountability, transparency and good governance in the sports sector.
He expressed gratitude for the appointment, describing it as an opportunity to serve humanity across the continent.
Gombe thanked Tunisian authorities and called for support from stakeholders to ensure the success of the assignment.(NAN)
