By Victor Okoye
Akure, Nov. 30, 2025 – Yòmí Oyékàn has begun restructuring Ondo’s signage and advertisement system, one week after assuming office as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor.

He conducted field assessments across major corridors, identifying illegal billboards, banners and unapproved commercial displays.
Oyékàn led enforcement exercises in Alagbaka, Ijapo, Oba-Ile and other zones, focusing on compliance, education and orderly regulation.

He opened discussions with brands and SMEs to boost revenue through properly approved advertising channels in the state.
Aligned with Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s development goals, he positioned signage as a strategic driver of aesthetics, tourism and urban discipline.

His early actions have improved clarity on streets and strengthened confidence in a cleaner, more regulated signage environment.
