Udi LGA labour party stakeholders visit Dr Nwokeabia
The Representatives of Labour Party UDI local government area of Enugu State on Thursday paid a Solidarity Visit to the Deputy Governorship Candidate of labour Party Enugu State in the just concluded elections in Nigeria Dr John Okechukwu Nwokeabia at his Private Residence in Enugu.
The stakeholders were led by Former UDI local government Chairmen Dr Walter Oji, Enugu West Vice Chairman, Hon Achife Soludo, UDI Local Government Chairman Chinedu Ukwu and Chief Evaristus Okwo.
In his opening Speech, Dr Walter Oji noted that the Visit was to thank His Excellency Dr John Okechukwu Nwokeabia for his Commitment to the labour Party campaign organization and his continued efforts even after the election as almost every Stakeholder from Udi was still Very much serious as a result of the kind of leadership that the Governorship Candidate of the labour Party Enugu State Barrister Chijioke Jonathan Edeoga and himself as the Deputy has been very exemplary and through their efforts the desires of the labour party faithful in Enugu will soon be realised.
Speaking further at the event Chief, Evaristus Okwo who said the opening prayers noted that the Job of a Governor and his Deputy required focused and straight forward Characters which they have exhibited Since the coming on board the labour Party in Enugu State and from the look of things the mandate which was freely given to the Party by the People of Enugu will soon be retrieved.
Many other Speakers at the event included Engr Callistus Ngwu,Onyia Chukwudi(Onwa) Commodore Ike Owo Onu Rtd, Barrister Buchi Enenwali,Eneh Ugochukwu,Ozor James,Hon Mrs Owo Onu, Chief Christian Ugwu, Moses Odenigbo and the Coordinator of the event Barrister Emeka Ugwu.
In his response His Excellency, Dr John Okechukwu Nwokeabia while addressing the audience said he was very excited by their Visit and kind words expressed by the multitude of Speakers and adviced that all hands must be on deck as Enugu State people really showed that they needed a Change which they Proved with the number of elected members
in the national assembly, State House of Assembly and the Governorship election which from all indices shows that Enugu State now belongs to the labour Party.
He thanked the Governorship Candidate Barrister Chijioke Jonathan Edeoga for his Commitment and to all Party Faithful to remain focused and steadfast in prayers and look forward to Victory at the end of the proceeding at the Tribunal.
