The Jagaba national coalition (JNC),an amalgamation of support group across the country come together to support the candidacy of Tinubu/Shetima presidential aspiration in the 2023 general election.

The aforementioned support group held the word press conference on Thursday in Abuja to officially inaugurate the 36 state coordinators of the organisation that will be over seen the affairs of the state and as well giving them a marching order to inaugurate the structure at their various local government down to the polling units.

The national coordinator of the group, chief Kayode Michael Ajayi, while delivering his speech at the event regarded JNC as a conglomeration of a political support group such as Yoruba butchers association of Nigeria, (YBAN),the peer to peer and united Elites for Tinubu and Shetima support group, (UETSSG)with hundreds of thousands member cut across the country.

The coordinator, stated that the aim of NJC as a registered political support group with APC is to canvass and mobilize voters nationwide in support of APC candidates in the 2023 general elections.
Chief Ajayi disclosed that the support group are not only formidable organization but also comprised of highly experienced politicians that participated on the 2015/2019 presidential election that produced the current APC government at the center and most States of the federation. He stressed further that state coordinators being inaugurated with the support of local government and polling units coordinator should immediately commence the door to door uju canvass and mobilization for support of all APC candidates to be victorious In the 2023 general elections.

He added that the national Secretariat of the group has scheduled the three levels of training for the state coordinators in the area of voters education, vote canvassing, election monitoring and as well to train some selected youths in the various fields of skills acquisition, which includes fish farming and technical vocations for job creation and economic empowerment at the grass root.
Chief Ajayi urged the media to provide an atmosphere for a robust debate for the ventilation and cross fertilization of ideas among all contestants in a healthy environment. He maintained that senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, senator Kashim Ibrahim Shetima by their antecedents are the best men for the job of turning around the fortune of Nigeria.

The National coordinator, therefore, employing the media to respect the choices of the party and also allowed to be tested in a free and fair electoral contest and as well strongly advised to resist an attempt by those who want to use their platform to create unnecessary religious/ethnic discord among Nigerians through negative profiling of its party candidates.
He finally urging the media to dwell more on the positive side of the current APC led administration both at the centre and other level of which will be consolidated upon by Tinubu and his team on his assumption of office as president of the federal republic of Nigeria.

He concluded that they are confident that majority of good people of Nigerians will vote for APC presidential candidates, his running mate and the other levels across the country in the next year’s generally election.
