A few months ago Some Enugu State Citizens were gruesomely murdered by Soldiers of the Nigerian Army around 9th Mile Enugu.
Before now in the words of Barrister Cyriacus Umeha not much will happen after the setting up of a panel to look into the remote cause of such incidents.
In a Press interview on the side Line of the Adhoc Committee investigation Barrister Cyriacus who represents UDI/Ezeagu in the federal house of representatives told reporters that he moved a motion in the house on the issue and after much debate was passed for investigation, a clear departure from the past.
He noted that the Speaker of the house Rt Hon Tajudeen Abass at the their inauguration declared that the house will not be a rubber Stamp but will go a long way to ensure that the welfare of the masses are in the front burner.
Barrister Umeha further said he was very Satisfied with the manner the Adhoc Committee investigating the murder has handled the matter as all the parties involved have cooperated with the Committee and was sure that at the end of the investigation a report will be Submitted to the Authorities in the National Assembly for their necessary
action.
He urged the people of Enugu State be Patient as the old order is Changing yielding place to new.
