Mr Henry Mbachu, Anambra State Lawmaker Representing Awka South 1 State constituency has commended The Sun Newspaper over recognitions given to Mr Peter Obi as political icon of the year 2023.
Mbachu said that the Sun Awards is a prestigious media honour that celebrates individuals who have made significant contributions to various fields of endeavour in Nigeria.
In his congratulatory message, Mbachu described the award as meritorious and well-deserved.
He said that Mr. Obi in the last general election changed the political trajectory of Nigeria since the return of democracy 25 years ago.
According to Mbachu, Obi visibly represents the yearnings and aspirations of every Nigerian and can navigate the country from its present condition to a prosperous path.
He also implored Obi to remain unwavering in his push to see that Nigeria breaks free from bad governance and creates the envisioned New Nigeria.
He prayed God to grant him grace and unlimited strength.
