A Chieftain of Labour Party in Enugu State who also doubles as the Labour Party Woman leader in Oji River local government area of Enugu State has reacted to the recent approval of #170billion Loan granted to Enugu State Government.
Barrister Chinyere Gbugu wondered how the members of the House of Assembly will approve such a loan when the state was indebted to so many banks to the tune of billions.
This is a worrisome development that all good people of Enugu State should speak up with one voice and condemn because at the end of the day our Children future will be in a dire strait.
Labour Party, she noted, will not be in a haste to go this way but will look to improve the internal generated revenue and open up the entire space for the Youths to unlock the economy with new ideas from a fresh perspective that will improve the economy and the state will enter into the production phase which is the Mantra of the labour Party from consumption to production.
She further urged the labour Party faithful to continue to work towards retrieving the mandate as the Appellate Courts will look into the Petition brought by the labour Party Governorship Candidate Barrister Chijioke Jonathan Edeoga and his Deputy Governorship Candidate Dr John Okechukwu Nwokeabia with a new approach that will look properly what the constitution and electoral laws provisions concerning the conduct and winning election entails.
