The Deputy Governorship Candidate of Labour Party in Enugu State in the March 18, Governorship election in Nigeria has been extolled by the members of NSUDE WARD in UDI local government area of Enugu State.
The members, under the leadership of the WARD Chairman, Hon Sunday Ani paid a Solidarity Visit to His Excellency Dr John Okechukwu Nwokeabia in his Enugu Residence Penultimate Sunday to identify with his commitment to the Victory recorded by labour Party during the last election and Enugu State in Particular.
Hon Ani in his address during the visit noted that NSUDE WARD was Solidly Behind LP as was attested to during the election.
Going further, Hon Sunday noted that Dr Nwokeabia brought NSUDE to great reckoning when he ensured that Enugu West flagoff of their Campaign rallies took off from NSUDE with it’s attendant Publicity.
ln the same vein, a stakeholder in the ward, who was part of the visit and also representing the Igwe Chief Osmond Udeoji, noted that His Excellency Dr John Okechukwu Nwokeabia as an inlaw to NSUDE people have always put them in the Scheme of things and prayed that the good Lord will grant the prayers of the Labour Party Faithful to retrieve the Mandate the people of Enugu State gave to labour Party under the leadership of Barrister Chijioke Jonathan Edeoga and his Deputy Governorship Candidate Dr John Okechukwu Nwokeabia.
In his Response, His Excellency Dr John Okechukwu Nwokeabia said he was very joyful at their visit as he has always regarded NSUDE as his second home since he got married to his wife of inestimable Value as she is Popularly called Odiukonamba a rare breed.
He further informed the visitors that he has always enjoyed their friendly disposition since he married their daughter.
Some other stakeholders in the entourage included Engr Ejike Onoh, Mrs Onyinye Ugwu,M C Madu,Jude Ozoede, Chijioke Ugwu and Hon Paulinus Ejim and other dignitaries.
