The three Panel of Judges Sitting in Enugu State House of Assembly tribunal affirmed the Victory of Hon Jude Udefuna as the duely elected Member for Ezeagu LGA of Enugu State at the recently Concluded election in the State.
The PDP Candidate in the election Hon Chima Obieze had approached the Tribunal with two Petitions against Hon Jude Udefuna, Membership of the labour Party and his Academic qualifications.
In the words of the Counsel to Hon Jude Udefuna Barrister Emeka Asogwa the ruling went the way of Justice as all the issues were in favour of my Client who was the first respondent and wondered how a Petitioner can Come to the Tribunal and raise Such Issues that obviously are Internal affairs of the Party.
Reacting to the Judgement Hon Jude Udefuna Said that the Verdict was expected, however there was trepidation following recent Judgements that leaves much to be desired.With this Judgement Hon Jude noted Confidence is renewed that the Judiciary is the last hope of a Common Man.
On his Constituency Ezeagu Hon Udefuna Said that he will not take them for granted as NDI Ezeagu will get full Value with his representation and his Popular Cliche,I am for all Ezeagu People Irrespective of Party affiliation.
