
The Labour Party held their Primaries today in connection with the February local government election in Enugu State.
The primary election conducted at Awgu local government office of the Party was won by the hard working labour Party faithful Hon Aganigbo Chidozie from IHE ward.
The primary which was keenly contested by three candidates saw Aganigbo Chidozie winning with twenty Votes with the the second contestant Hon Okwudili Okoye ten Votes and third Okpala Fredrick coming out with three Votes.
In his Post Victory Speech at the venue for the election Hon Chidozie noted that he was very grateful for the opportunity given to him by the delegates to be the labour Party candidate in the coming February local government election in the State and that his administration will tackle the insecurity in the area, empower the youths with skill acquisition that will improve their lives.
Tackle road infrastructure as Awgu is a major producer of agricultural products and requires access roads to evacuate their farmlands.
Hon Aganigbo Chidozie called on his fellow contestants to join forces with him to win the coming election and bring about outstanding democratic dividends to Awgu people who have been Short Changed for so many years now.
