Enugu 2023: Massive turnout as Edoga meets PDP delegates in Igboeze North

Hon. Chijioke Edoga, one of the top contenders for the Governorship of Enugu State in 2023 on the platform of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), on Tuesday met with delegates from Igboeze North Local Government Area.
The meeting was in continuation of his consultation ahead of the delegates primary election/Congress slated for May 25, 2022.
Addressing the delegates and other party faithful who, trooped out to welcome him, Edeoga thanked them for the warm reception and solicited for their support.
He also commended Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for allowing aspirants the opportunity to interface with delegates across the state.
He described Igbo-Eze North as “the power base of politics in Enugu State”.
The aspirant recalled how he started his political journey in the Local Government and assured them that, they would never be sidelined under his tenure, as governor.
“Your pain will be my pain, your joy will be my joy.
“I promise you before God and man, that I would not forget you, if you support and pray for me to become the governor, ” he said.
Edoga and his entourage were earlier welcomed by the LG’s PDP Chair, Hon Alex Urama.
Urama described him, as “our prayer that would be answered in 2023”.
“You are the man that we are praying that God would use to wipe our tears over all the injustices that have been meted to our people, who are on this divide especially, our neighbours in Isi-Uzo, ” he said.
