ELECTION: CLARION CALL FOR ENUGU YOUTHS!!
My dear Youths of ENUGU STATE, with three days to the most important election in the annals of the Democratic dispensation in this our great Country, as a result of the new electoral laws and the introduction of the BVAS which will definitely change the way the election is conducted, and for the first time the outcome being what happened on the election day with out any form of manipulation.
In the Past the Youths helped Politicians in rigging elections without knowing how it affects them.
I urge you this time to shun Politicians by collecting their money and still Vote for the right Candidates of labour Party and making sure that no form of thuggery will be entertained by being very vigilant, especially around the voting booths so as to protect your Votes as your future definitely will be brighter by Voting the labour Party Candidates who have vowed to Change the narrative.
Also bear in mind that the guns shared to Youths for election rigging ends in misery and bad governance.
I wish to use this Medium to address you of your civic responsibility to get it right now or never.
Labour Party as you all are aware became a movement as a result of the antecedents of the Labour Party Presidential Candidate Peter Obi who today has become the greatest Brand coming out of this Country.
A little digression will explain what I mean, just in the last few days one of the most respected News Magazine in the world THE ECONOMIST of London in their unbiased opinion noted that out of the three front runners in this coming February election in Nigeria, only Peter Obi has what it takes to move Nigeria forward from this present comatose state.
I make bold to say that they and so many other Pollsters, Personalities of note across the length and breath of the country and not forgetting Powerful Men of God has endorsed Peter Obi as the best thing that will happen to this country at this auspicious time.
The Labour Party Enugu State has given each zone the chance to be Part of the highest Leadership in Enugu State and we should not allow this once in a life opportunity to be wasted as a result of our Poor judgement of how Politics works in this part of the country.
As we go back to our various polling units, I urge you to Vote Labour Party and Protect your votes and as we look forward to the BVAS to change the way things were done in the past, it is my honest opinion that, DR John Okechukwu Nwokeabia is holding this Deputy Governorship Candidate position in trust for the entire Enugu West Senatorial zone and we all should put our hands together to ensure that this wonderful opportunity that Barrister Chijioke Jonathan Edeoga has given to the people of Enugu West is grabbed with both hands for us to enjoy the democratic dividends that we have been denied by the ruling party for over twenty three years now.
On a final note I pledge to use this Medium to thank all our Youths that have sacrificed everything to be part of this movement that will bring democratic dividends as it has never happened before now.
