The speaker of house of representatives FEMI GBAJABIAMILA, has said that the report trending on social media on his purported lobby to be appointed as chief of staff to the president elect of Bola Tiniubu is fake.
Hon Femi Gbajabiamila is one of the key loyalist of Tinubu and he has been representing Surulere 1 Federal constituency of Lagos sins 2003.
Indeed, the report hinged his interest in the office of chief of staff to the incoming government on his absence at the international conference center (ICC) to collect his certificate of return, were he was absent.
When speeking to newsmen in Abuja on Monday, Hon Femi said he knows nothing about lobbying for the job.
All I heard was that I didn’t come here last week to pick my certificate of return and for that reason, somebody conjectured that it must be something about chief of staff.
