
Anambra State House of Assembly Committee on Works has charged the construction firm handling the construction of Abakaliki, Regina Caeli, Millennium Industry and INEC roads to expedite action on them.
The committee gave the directive while oversighting the projects in line with their legislative duties.

The Committee checked the culverts,tickness of the betlemin and type of aggregate used for the roads and observed that they are of high quality.
Commenting on the link roads,the Chairman of the Committee,Engineer Emma Nwafor disclosed that the firm is working closely to specifications as provided by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria and urged them to stick to specifications.
The Committee,however pointed out areae where the firm did mistakes and uncorrected them.
On his part,the projects manager.Mr. Sammy Napot informed the Committee that they have achieved seventy percent progress on:the projects and they are now at ashphalt stage.
He assured that the projects will be completed in December this year with twenty years guarantee.
