The traditional ruler of Agunese Mmaku and Chairman, Agwu Local Government Traditional Rulers Council, Igwe Maduabuchi Nevobasi has (Ogilishi) described the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate in Enugu State, Barr. Peter Mbah as the best candidate for the job saying he has no comparison among other candidates for the state’s number one job.
The first class monarch who is also a member of the Enugu State Council of Traditional Rulers stated this, Tuesday in Enugu, when he paid a courtesy visit to the governorship hopeful.
Speaking with newsmen, Igwe Nevobasi said he had no doubt that Mbah would lead the state to enviable heights, stressing that his decision to support him was as a result of his uncommon exploits in the private sector where he built businesses from scratch to national and global reckoning.
“We have come to pay homage to our brother, the incoming governor of Enugu State.
“Everybody knows who Peter Mbah is. A man who manages businesses of billions, so he can manage the affairs of the state. He knows what he’s doing. So we are happy that God has given us such a man. We are so happy that we have such a man in our midst,” the multi-billionaire monarch, who has a business conglomerate across the world, said.
While calling on the people of the state to see the PDP gubernatorial candidate as a rare opportunity for them to change the narrative and take charge of their destiny by queuing behind him, the revered monarch said Mbah was God’s chosen candidate that would effect industrial revolution and bring development to the people.
“My message to the electorate is simple; they should all go out and vote for Mbah when the time comes. He is the God’s chosen one for them. I am just appealing to them to queue behind him. And I’m also advising them as a royal father who has never misled my people having been on the throne for 20 years.
“See, I have absolute confidence that a man who has transformed his own businesses, turned them into billions and manages them well is going to transform Enugu State to enviable heights. He is going to do something different in our state. He will transform Enugu State and the people will be happy,” he added.
