Osogbo, the capital of Osun State, on Saturday witnessed unprecedented crowd as thousands of people thronged the city for a mega rally in agitation for a Yoruba nation
Attempts by security agencies to stop the event failed.
Not even the denial of the use of the planned venue of the tally deterred its organizers as they soon regrouped and marched on public places.
Operatives of the police, the civil defence corps and Amotekun corps had earlier sealed off the venue of the rally attended largely by the youth, women and leaders of the agitationfor Ouduwa Republic. ##
