…Reaffirms Commitment to Supporting the Government
The Executive Chairman of Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area, Barr. Ugo Ferdinand Ukwueze, has formally received the newly elected Executive Members of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Igbo-Eze South Chapter.
The delegation was led by the outgoing Chairman, Chief Eugene Ugwu, who now serves as the State Chairman, Committee on Conflict Resolution.
In his introductory remarks, Chief Ugwu commended Barr. Ukwueze for the productive collaboration and unalloyed support extended to the outgoing administration during their tenure.
He encouraged the incoming Executive Members of Ohanaeze to remain resolute in their commitment to support the government in delivering quality leadership.
He described Hon Ukwueze’s leadership as one that prioritises the welfare and development of the people.
Addressing the delegation, Barr. Ukwueze who is also the deputy Chairman of ALGON in the state, expressed profound appreciation to the outgoing Executive for their dedication and steadfast partnership with his administration.
He urged the newly elected Executive to sustain the strong synergy between Ohaneze Ndigbo and the Government in serving the people.
“I sincerely appreciate the immediate past Executive for their invaluable support thus far. It has been a privilege to collaborate with them.
“To the newly elected Executive, I encourage you to approach your responsibilities with diligence and a deep sense of service.
“Leadership is about responsibility, and as you take on these roles, always remember that the ultimate goal is to serve our people.
“Be rest assured, my administration will continue to offer the necessary support to ensure that we collectively achieve excellence in service delivery for the people of Igbo-Eze South,” Barr. Ukwueze stated.
In his vote of thanks, the newly elected Chairman of Ohaneze Ndigbo Igbo-Eze South Chapter, Chief Barr. Chika Egwu, extended gratitude to the council chairman for his openness to dialogue and engagement on issues concerning Ohaneze Ndigbo.
He emphasised their dedication to fostering socio-economic development and noted the alignment of this vision with the objectives of the local government administration.
“One of the fundamental principles of Ohaneze Ndigbo is the pursuit of socio-economic advancement for our people, and it is evident that your government shares this commitment.
“We look forward to working closely with your administration to drive meaningful progress,” Barr. Egwu remarked.
