The Enugu Electricity Distribution PLC (EEDC) has informed her esteemed customers that their staff will be carrying out market Storm for revenue drive on Saturday, 29th August, 2020.
The EEDC made the statement through Mr. EMEKA EZEH, Head, Corporate Communications.
According to EEDC, “the exercise will hold in the 18 District offices.
“As a result of this, customers with arrears, and those yet to pay their August bill, which is for energy consumed in the month of July, are advised to pay down their arrears and current bills to avoid being disconnected.
“While EEDC is consciously improving the quality of its services, customers are encouraged to support this move by prompt payment of energy bills.
“For ease of payment during the storm, our collection agents will be on ground. Our online payment channels will also be available for use.”
The EEDC however condemned any form of activity capable of undermining its efforts, such as energy theft, meter bypass, and illegal access to the network.
“EEDC assures her customers of its commitment to consistently improve on its service quality.” The statement added.
