The Board of Trustee Chairman of Ndigbo United Forum, Hon. Chief Chinedu Mbah, has felicitated with his colleague, Professor George Obiozor on his election as the President of the Igbo Socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo.
The congratulatory message which was personally signed by the NUF’s BoT Chairman was forwarded to newsmen this afternoon. The BoT Chairman, while felicitating with the former Ambassador charged him to commence healing process by reaching out to aggrieved members.

The Chairman Board of Trustees (BOT) Ndigbo United Forum Worldwide, Hon Chief Chinedu Mba heartily congratulates Ambassador George Obiozor, the newly elected President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo on the election that took place at the Dan Anyiam stadium in Owerri, the Imo state capital yesterday.
Hon Chief Chinedu Mba advised the new President-General to quickly swing into action by bringing the warring factions in the association to a roundtable discussion with a view to amicably settling their differences for the prosperity and progress of the association.
He warned Ohanaeze Ndigbo to shun political affiliations and activities as this is against the vision of the igbo forebears who came together to form the association.
He added that Ohanaeze Ndigbo was originally established as a socio-cultural and not a socio-political organization to promote the igbo culture.
Hon. Chief Mba also called on the newly elected president to do everything in his power to secure a certificate of registration from the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
Hon. Chief Mba however describe the victory of Ambassador George Obiozor as divine urging him not to be distracted from any form of intrigues that surrounded the election that brought him in as president rather task the new Ohanaeze Ndigbo executive on restructuring, and constitution amendment that would promote the Igbo Culture.
Hon Chief Chinedu Mba, urged Igbo leaders, irrespective of political affiliation, religious and ideological differences, to support the new executive in their quest of moving the Igbo nation forward.
