The home of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo President General Chief Nnia Nwodo in Ukehie, Igbo-Etiti Local Government Area of Enugu State was Sunday bombed by unknown persons.
Although details of the incident as well as extent of damage was not yet clear as at the time of this report the Enugu Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Ebere Amaraizu Confirmed that the bomb was thrown from outside the perimeter fence of the compound.
Amaraizu who said inquiry was still in progress to unravel gray areas said the bomb was not planted in the Nwodo compound.
