SURV ONYEJIUWA PHILOMENA SPEAKS ON women education and mobilisation
Ahead of the February election in Nigeria, the Labour Party in Enugu State (Women Wing) have left no one in doubt that this election will herald a new visita, in the way election should be planned and executed to ensure that the right people are elected to bring the required democratic dividends to the society.
The Woman leader Labour Party Ezeagu LGA of Enugu State SURV ONYEJIUWA PHILOMENA is one woman that has Shown total Commitment to the admiration of both the labour Party faithful and even the voters in the various Wards.
This writer recently accompanied the Labour Party women canvass to some remote areas in Ezeagu LGA and witnessed first hand the town hall meetings organised by the Labour Party women wing headed by the hard working SURV ONYEJIUWA PHILOMENA explaining with a sample of the voting forms that shows that in the coming election many votes will not be Voided as a result of the proper education of very uninformed voters who ordinarily would have made a lot of mistakes during the election.
It was a thing of joy seeing old women over seventy years of age ldentifying properly the logos of various parties to the admiration of the labour Party faithful during the excercise.
Speaking with the reporters at the end of the town hall meetings the Women leader said she was very satisfied with the way the old women have responded to the excercise that goes to show that all hands are on deck to Change the voting patterns in Enugu State.
She urged other women leaders across the country and Enugu State in particular to key into this new way that will give Labour Party victory in this fast approaching election that has generated so much tension as a result of the labour Party Enugu State unparalleled and entry into the race that have ruffled feathers and in a position to change the leadership mantra in Enugu State and Nigeria in the
Presidential race where all recent Polls shows that Labour Party Presidential Candidate and his Deputy Ahmed DattI is way and Shoulders ahead of the other Presidential Candidates.
