Achi Labour Party stakeholders pay solidarity visit to Barrister Edeoga in Enugu
The Deputy Governorship Candidate of Labour Party (LP) in the March 18 election in Enugu State, Dr John Nwokeabia on Saturday led a cream of Achi Labour Party Stakeholders and other Party Faithful to the residence of Labour Party Governorship Candidate Barrister Chijioke Edeoga on a solidarity visit.
The historic visit was in the Spirit of. “Ogagagwuagwu” as everything was rightly put in place by the organizers to make the visit memorable.
Some of the Stakeholders at the event include Barrister Maxi Okwu, Nze Jeff Ukeh, Chief Emma Obi, Abba Anorld, Innocent Obiakalusi, Princewell Okolo, Dr Mcginger Ibeneme, Okamgba Aham, Enyi Aham Achi High Chief and other notable Son’s of Achi in Oji River Local Government Area.
Speaking at the event (Ikenecheoha2) Maxi Okwu noted that for the past 24 (twenty four) years, the present ruling PDP in Enugu State had kept Achi Political Class in the dark with little or nothing to show for it inspite of Achi being the biggest political block in Oji River LGA.
Nze Jeff Ukeh also spoke in the same vein and said that, it wqs a known fact today, that Achi and indeed Oji River is now Labour as was displayed during the election of Hon Osita Eze, Labour Party Enugu State House of Assembly member elect
He noted that inspite of the challenges posed by INEC and PDP to manipulate the process, Eze triumphed because Achi people were tired of the ruling PDP.
Abba Anorld leader of the political group thanked Barrister Edeoga for his magnanimity to the people of Achi and the leader of the stakeholders and the Deputy Governorship candidate of lp, Dr John Okechukwu Nwokeabia.
Speaking the deputy governorshp candidate thanked his Principal for choosing him and promised on behalf of Achi People, to always stand by the “Governor in waiting” Barrister Edeoga as he awaits to reclaim his “stolen” mandate.
At the event the Chairman of labour party in Enugu State, Barrister Casmir Agbo and Barrister Edeoga in his witty best cracked jokes.
His Excellency Edeoga said he was very happy with his choice of Nwokeabia as his deputy and asked for Prayers “as God has the final word on who leads Enugu to the New Nigeria that is Possible.”
He thanked the Achi stakeholders for the visit.
