Security: Community donates Sienna Bus, motorcycles, phones to Imilike neighborhood watch
In a bid to enhance the security of their community, the Imilike General Assembly, on Thursday donated Sienna Bus, Motorcycles, GSM phones to their neighborhood.
Imilike General Assembly led by their President General, Prof. Malachy Okwueze, made the presentation in well attended event at Imilike on Thursday.

“Because we don’t want our peace loving nature to be taking for granted, the Imilike General Assembly, have purchased Sienna bus, 8 brand new motorcycles and 16 telephones with 32 phone lines to distribute to members of neighbourhood watch across the four communities that makeup Imilike so as to strengthen their activities.” Okwueze said.
He urged members of the neighborhood watch to make good use of the items to the benefit of the good people of Imilike and the state in general.


The Governor of Enugu State, His Exellency Rt.Hon Dr Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, while commissioning the items noted that the people of Imilike acted in tandem with the state government’s resolve to stamp out criminal activities in Enugu state.
The Governor who was represented by his Special Adviser on security, General Ezeh (rtd) thanked Imilike people for their uncommon unity and urged them to continue to be an example to other communities.
FirstNews reports that personalities who graced the event were the current Udenu LGA Transition Committee Chairman, Hon Innocent Eze, the elected Chiarman-elect Udenu LGA, Hon. Chief Frank Ugwu, Chief.Barr. Chalie Ugwu, the representatives of the Catholic and Anglican Bishops of Nsukka dioceses, Udenu LG DPO and other security heads in the area.
Others in attendance were the commander Enugu State Neighborhood Watch, Enugu state PDP Deputy Chiarman, Hon. Innocent Ezeora, Zonal Financial Secretary of PDP, Chief James Ugwu among other illustrious sons and daughters of Imilike.
