Abuja, Sept. 13, 2025 (NAN) The Force Director of Sports, CP Osifo T. Emefile, on Friday, led a delegation to welcome the newly appointed Chairman of the Force Sports Planning Committee for the 15th Biennial Police Games (BIPOGA) 2026, AIG Fom Pam Joseph, psc(+).

A statement signed by SP Atabor Job, PR Liaison Officer for Commissioner of Police, Force Director of Sports said the visit followed the appointment of AIG Joseph by the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM.
CP Emefile led members of the committee serving within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to formally receive the chairman, in line with the traditions of the Nigeria Police Sports family.
Rhe delegation included chairpersons of various Police Sports Associations and members of the Force Sports Secretariat.

Those in attendance were:
1. DCP Shuaibu Bello – Chairman, Police Swimming
2. ACP Ofili Felix, psc, rqs – Chairman, Police Chess
3. ACP Timothy Jamberlang – Chairman, Police Handball
4. ACP Olabisi O. Okuwobi, psc, mnipr, mipra (UK) – Chairperson, Police Frisbee
5. ACP Abdulmajid Isah – Vice Chairman, Police Hockey
6. ACP Olusoji Abraham Obideyi – Chairman, Police Wushu Kungfu
7. CSP Abubakar Danladi – Chairman, Police Arm Wrestling
8. SP Atabor Job – Admin Officer and PR Liaison, Force Sports Secretariat
9. ASP Michael Aladejare – Officer-in-Charge, Photography, FPRD

AIG Joseph who doubles as the Force’s Secretary, thanked the delegation for the visit.
The meeting evolved into a brief strategy session ahead of the Games.
The chairman, a badminton and table tennis enthusiast, is known as a seasoned administrator and disciplined officer.
The Director of Sports expressed confidence in Joseph’s leadership and said members of the committee looked forward to a successful BIPOGA under his guidance.
Preparations for the 15th edition of the biennial Games are ongoing, with more details expected to be released soon.(NAN)
