Abuja, May 26, 2025 (NAN) Team FCT is making significant strides at the ongoing 22nd edition of the National Sports Festival, demonstrating strong performances across a range of sports and showcasing the Federal Capital Territory’s growing athletic prowess.
So far, Team FCT has secured an impressive total of 27 medals—comprising 10 gold, 6 silver, and 11 bronze—highlighting the team’s commitment and competitiveness on the national stage.
Breakdown of Medals by Sport:
Gold Medals (10 Total):
Karate: 5, Ayoo: 2, Golf: 2, Scrabble: 1
Silver Medals (6 Total): Golf: 3, Karate: 1, Weightlifting: 1, Wushu Kungfu: 1
Bronze Medals (11 Total): Weightlifting: 2, Taekwondo: 2, Powerlifting: 2, Wushu Kungfu: 1, Athletics: 1, Scrabble: 1, Badminton: , Karate: 2
