Don’t allow Cathedral Primary School Enugu to die, foundation tells Ugwuanyi
Mr Chinedu Ugwa, founder of Arthur-Chinedu Ugwa Foundation has urged the outgoing Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu Statd not to allow the Cathedral Primary School Enugu to die.
He made the plea when he donated various school materials to the pupils of the School School in Enugu
Ugwu, a Philanthropist and former pupil of the school (a class of 1991) said the donation was his desire to give back to the society
He said it was out of the little that he had that he decided to give a little to the school that made him.
Ugwa, who is also the Special Adviser on Special Duties to the Bayelsa State Government urged other alumnus of the school to come to the of the school.
He said: “This is out of the little that I have. It is not that I have much but it is out of the little that God has blessed me with that I give back to the society that made me.
“I call upon all other alumnus of this school to the aid of our Alma msza,” he said.
He decried the encroachment on the school by the Holy Ghost Catholic Cathedral which has taken over most part of the school.
He appeal to Ugwuanyi not to allow the schoz to die, adding that the school built in 1958 has produced prominent people in the society.
“I appeal to the outgoing governor not allow this school due or to be swallowed by external forces.
“If you to relocate ut, leave the name for us, because our names are attached to the cathedral primary school, ” he said.
