Akure, March 11, 2026 – The Ondo State Signage and Advertisement Agency has commenced a routine statewide enforcement to sanitise the outdoor advertising landscape and ensure compliance with signage regulations across the state.
The exercise, which began across major towns and highways in Ondo State, targets removal of dilapidated structures, illegal campaign banners, unauthorised billboards and other non-compliant advertising materials.

Mr. Yòmí Oyékàn, Senior Special Assistant on Signage and Advertisement to the Ondo State Government said, the enforcement formed part of the agency’s routine regulatory responsibility to maintain order and safety in the outdoor advertising sector.
Oyékàn noted that poorly maintained structures and illegally mounted materials create visual pollution and could pose dangers to residents and road users.
