Aba (Abia), March 21, 2026 (NAN) Ehinomen Igbinadolor emerged champion of the 3rd Aba Ladies Open Golf Championship 2026, sealing victory with a rare eagle on Hole 13.

The three-day World Amateur Golf Ranking championship sanctioned by the Ladies Golf Association of Nigeria (LGAN) and R&A teed off on Thursday and ended Saturday, attracting no fewer than 250 lady golfers from across the country to the beautiful and industrial city of Aba.
Igbinadolor returned an overall gross score of 264 over three days to claim the top prize in the keenly contested tournament.
In the gross category (handicap 1–18), Love Okoho led with 266 gross, followed by Alice Dovi with 291 and Osinachi Ndukwu with 294.
In category 2 (handicap 19–28), Ifeoma Onwechukwu won best gross with 290, ahead of Oluchi Goodness (300), Justina Nwachukwu (306) and Uwabor Angela (310).
In the veteran ladies category, Ifenyinwa Udeagbala won best gross with 225, while LGAN President Lami Ahmed scored 253 and Stella Abamu posted 269 to finish as top winners in the category.
In the special category (handicap 29–36), Ndidi Okafor led with 114 gross, followed by Sherry Nwachukwu (122) and Nkechi Tolani (129).
In the super veteran category, Ongodi Nkwoji won best gross with 69 over nine holes, while Helga Oji finished with 73 gross.
Adaugo Martins won Day One with 96 gross, Nkechi Nwokolo claimed Day Two with 99, while Patience Akpan won Day Three with 99.
In auxiliary awards, Igbinadolor won longest drive (Day One), Love Okoho claimed nearest to the pin, and Osinachi Ndukwu won longest drive on Day Two.(NAN)
