… commend contractors for defying the sit-at -home order

The Executive Chairman of Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area and Deputy ALGON Chairman, Enugu State Barr. Ugo Ferdinand Ukwueze, on Monday toured construction sites of Smart Schools projects going on in the council area.
FirstNews report that the Chairman toured the Smart School construction sites in Ovoko, Iheakpu -Awka and Ibagwa-Aka respectively.
Barr. Ukwueze embarked on the tour exercise to ascertain the level of works at ongoing Smart- green school projects in the council area.
He commended the site engineers and contractors for their dedications to their various projects within the council Area defying all imaginable odds.
Barr. Ukwueze while inspecting the projects, expressed confidence in Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s administration taking Enugu State to greater heights with avalanche of projects and quality leadership being experienced in the state.
He said, “Our Tomorrow is here mantra is already yielding massive success barely within the first two years in his first tenure,”.
He urged some site Engineers and supervisors handling the projects to be committed on their job so that they will meet up with the expected timeframe giving to them to complete their projects by the state government.
He said, “do your job with utmost professionalism, best practices, and keeping with the stipulated time,”.
The Chairman used the opportunity to call on the good people of Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area to go about their businesses.
He said, “I am excited with level of calmness in all the areas we visited today. The people are going about their normal businesses contributing to the overall economic growth of our environment.
He said that his government will continue to ensure and provide security of life and property which is the fulcrum of his ‘Progress Agenda’ mantra.
FirstNews reports that the ALGON Vice Chairman thereafter paid a visit to his boundary brother Chairman of Udenu Local Government Area, Aka Eze Aka to share leadership experience.
