Abuja, Oct. 10, 2024 (NAN) The pioneer District Governor of D9127 , Rtn. Mike Ukachi has made his official visit to Rotary Club of Abuja-Aso Golf.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Ukachi was received by the Magic President, Rtn Liz Ulumaranma and club members.
NAN recalls that the Magic President, Rtn Liz Ulumaranma, fondly called STAR GIRL, who is also a former Golf Lady Captain and immediate past Vice President of African Women in Leadership Organization had her presidential ceremony, formally installing her in office, on Sept. 19, 2024 at the IBB International Golf and Country Club, Abuja.
The DG was accompanied by very senior Rotarians amongst PDG Chiejina , PDG Okwor, PDG Nnoka, PDG Elvis, PDG Victor , PAG Dupe Abosede and his entourage.
Ukachi commended Rotary Club of Abuja-Aso Golf leadership for a good job especially for gaining new members and encouraged the President to do more.
The high point of the occasion was the induction of 3 new members to Rotary family – Rtns Ngozi Bose Onwuegbu, Rahila Thomas and Ngumbuu
The Charter President of the Club and Vice Captain of IBB Golf club , Rtn. (Dr. ) James Agbohnese launched the new Club Banneret with other members which was coordinated by Rtn. Rahila Thomas.
It was also an avenue for the club to raise fund as Award-winning PAG Dupe was appointed SAA of the Day.
Former Charter President and Vice President of Rotary club of Aso Golf (Rtn. (Dr. ) Olu Wilson made a presentation to DG on behalf of the club as other members also presented a gift to the DG’s entourage.
NAN also reports that a former Captain of the Prestigious IBB Golf Club who is also a past District Governor, Rtn. Chika Chiejina commended the club for the good job and also charged them to do more.(NAN)
