Hon. Chief. Dr. Billy Osawaru, a member Representing Ohionmwon/Uhumwwode Federal constituency advocates for swift payment of 26.7billion Naira approved by the former President Mohammad Buhari to the host communities of oil and gas.
Speaking with Journalits shortly after the Host Hommittee meeting at the House of Representatives, Chief, Osawaru said that the challenges of the host communities are enormous, like the gas flaring which has a lot of negative effects on the host communities, lack of farm land among others.
According to the title holder from the same region. ” our dear President Tinubu will be very responsive to this plight and our money that have not been released to the people will be released by the time our committee report will be submitted to him.” Again what we are trying to to do is to make sure that the money when released would be used judiciously” he added.
Rep. Osarawu advise his people from the region to get united with one voice in order to get the money government has been holding in trust for them as he enough is enough that it’s high time they get paid.
