Abuja, April 18, 2022 – Head Coach of Imo state Para Basketball Team,Mrs.Angela Nzekwe has lauded the gesture of the Vice President of the Nigeria Basketball Federation NBBF,Mr.Osita Nwachukwu donations of jersey to the team.
Mr. Nwachukwu’s jersey donations was welcomed by cheers and applause from the team, made up of players and officials.
Reacting, the Imo state head coach thanked the NBBF Vice President for his gesture and thoughtfulness,as she prayed God to use the Igoche Mark NBBF board to reposition Basketball in Nigeria.
“I want to commend our South East Zonal Rep, who also doubles as the NBBF Vice President for his gesture and thoughtfulness towards this Imo state team.
“His donations will go a long way to spur us up.I pray that God will use him and the Igoche Mark NBBF board to reposition Basketball in Nigeria.”Mrs. Nzekwe stated.
She commended the Imo state Director of Sports, Chief Emmanuel Metu for also supporting the team.
The Imo Para Basketball team emerged fourth after losing in the losers’final to team FCT. (NAN)
