Daniel Ugochukwu, won gold medal and became the Super-heavy weight champion after stopping Kingsley Enekwachi, who won silver medal, in the second round of the fiercely intense final match, Victor Arum won bronze medal in the same category.
In the 91 kg fight, Daniel Chukwudubem, won gold medal after beating silver medalist Joshua Rapheal.
Also in the 80 kg contest Kelechi Ugwu, won gold medal, just as Nonso Alex took home Silver medal while Paul Chizoba won bronze medal.
Shedrack Ozoemena beat Ebuka Azodo to win gold medal as Azodo had to contend with silver medal, Chinedu Okorie and Joseph Okoh won bronze medals in the 71 kg fight.
In the 63.5 kg fight James Igwe emerged victorious after out- punching Ransome Ndunagu who won silver medal as Chukwudi Ikenna and Samuel Orji, went home with bronze medals.
Israel Ogbodo, won gold medal in 60 kg fight while Stanley Obi and Chinedu Akanso, won silver and bronze medals respectively.

Barrister Ekweremmadu
Speaking on the occasion, Enugu State, Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Barrister Lloyd Ike Ekweremadu, commended the sponsor of the Boxing Championship and CEO David’s Hill Entertainment Centre Mr David Ebubechukwu Nwobodo, for his positive contribution to boxing development in the State.
Ekweremmadu noted that the mandate of his Ministry is to improve sports in the state, adding that his Ministry would continue to partner the private sector to improve sports in the State.
In his remarks, the sponsor of the Boxing Championship and CEO David’ s Hill Entertainment Centre, Mr David Ebubechukwu Nwobodo, who expressed happiness at the success of the event.
