The national association for educational administration and planning (NAEP) few days a go holds its 41th annual conference of the association to sensitize the members and the stakeholders in the educational sector on the need to fashion out a new strategies for effective policy implementation in the educational sector.
The national president of the association, prof. Hauwa Imam while speaking on the conferment of award of fellow on the TETFUND boss and who is the immediate past permanent secretary of ministry of education, arch. Sunny Echono, explained that the award was in recognition of his track record of leadership in the education sector.
The Executive Secretary, E S TETFUND while speaking with the Newsmen on the conferment of fellowship award, stated that the award is a worthy recognition of the important role being played in the educational sector over the years. He also went further to explained that they work very hard to restore the culture of planning in the sector not only in terms of curriculum but also in the general organization of the educational sector, so that we can have a steady and synchronize relationship from both basic, secondary and tertiary.
He also believed that those entrusted with the responsibility for administering our institution should not only have academy qualifications but also have professional skills and also imbibe the very good and well established practices, improved accountability, prudence and efficient use of resources at their disposal.
The E. S TETFUND also expressed his gratitude to the body of permanent secretary led by the head of service for nominated him for the national award and as well to the Mr president for graciously approved the conferment of national award.He explained that the award is multivation for him to rededicate himself to serve the country and as well spur him to do more
