Mr Chibuike Okereke , the Administrator, Secretheart of Jesus School in Aba, Abia State has lauded the Federal Government for setting 16 years as the minimum age of admission into the higher institutions in Nigeria.
Okereke said the age limit would help curtail youths silly behaviours in the higher institutions and give the students room to live a good and societal accepted behaviour.
He gave the praise in an interview with newsmen in Aba on Tuesday, while advising graduates of the Secretheart of Jesus School.
Okereke expressed satisfaction with the SSS 3 graduates and urged them to upheld the School’s moral ethics wherever they find themselves world.
He advised them to be focused and maintain the standard of living the school instilled in them and not to be carried away by the flashy things of the world.
The administrator warned the students against the bad influence from the socal media which he said, had led many youths astray in pursuit of living.
One of the graduated SSS three student, Chidera Ogbonna said she feels excited for graduating from secondary school and looks forth to succefully gain admission into higher leaning.
Ogbonna, a 17 year old girl, promised to be a good ambassador of the school by upholding the School moral teachings.
She thanked the School proprietors and teachers for given them a favorable atmosphere of learning and not putting money ahead of learning.
The school had 48 graduates from Senior Secondary School (SSS) three and 50 graduates from Junior Secondary School (JSS) to the senior class.
The administrator also noted that, 40 pupils graduated from Basic six into the JSS class, and 25 pupils graduated from Nursery section to Basic one while 25 pupils graduated from activity class into Basic one.
