Ex-Inspector general of police Solomon Arase (rtd) has been sworn in by president Muhammadu Buhari as the new chairman of police service commission (PSC).
The new Boss (Solomon Arase) took the oath of office before the commencement of the federal executive council (FEC) meeting today at the council chambers of the presidential villa
This comes up two months after the Senate has confirmed him as chairperson of PSC.
Also those present at the inuarguration was the vice president Yemi osinbajo, Secretary to the government of the fedration, Boss Mustapha, and chief of staff to the president Prof Ibrahim Gambari among other council members.
Solomon Arase who Retired in 2016, was the 18th indigenous inspector general of police (IGP) that is between April 2015 and june 2016 and he has also served in various capacity including head of the criminal intelligence Bureau, the formost intelligence gathering unit of the Nigeria police force.
