In a Citation read at the event by the Zonal Chairman of SEMF, Comrade Norbert N okolo Norbert, the Award was as a result of careful analysis of the leadership of Markets in the South East by the Selection Committee made up of Senior Editors and Correspondents from the Zone.

He thanked the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr Peter Mbah, for his outstanding leadership of the State and delivery of dividends of democracy that is so glaring and People oriented and urged the Members to continue to abide by the Policies of the government especially in the area of revenue collection.
