Dr Somtochukwu Udeze. The Speaker,Anambra State House of Assembly (ANHA) has described the State workforce as a solid partners in progress in Awka on Friday.
The statement was contained in the speakers goodwill mesage to Anambra workers and was made avaliable to journalists by Mr Emma Madu

The speaker made the statement in his message of felicitation as Anambra State workers join their counterparts in celebrating 2025 International Workers’ Day.
He urged the workers to continue to sustain and deepen the existing friendly working environment and industrial harmony between them and Governor,Prof Charles Soludo’s administration.
Udeze said that the State workforce has shown satisfactory and impressive performance across all economic ministries and agencies of the state.
He noted that Anambra State workers in its various civil service competitions have continued to outshine their counterparts in the country.
” I am proud of the state workers because they have done the State proud in both National and International competitions by clinching first positions as well as overall best teachers.
” I commend the governor for his pragmatic efforts towards improving the status and welfare of the State workforce through massive employments, training and retraining of workers.
“The provision of various support to the organised labour in the State, has yielded great value creation in the upgrading the state face in the country,he said”.
Udeze advised the workers to continue to reciprocate the governor’s gesture by shunning acts capable of smearing their image and reputation before the state government.
He enjoined them to use the occasion of the year’s Workers’ Day to reflect on how to be better and more productive by renewing their efforts through dedication, resilience and innovation.
The Speaker while commended the State Head of Service, Barrister Theodora Igwegbe and other Stakeholders in public and civil service sector in the State for transforming the system.
He urged workers to continue to support the Soludo’s administration, which he said, has touched the lives of civil servants in the state positively and had restored their dignity.
