LP woman leader urges Edeoga/Deputy, party faithful not to relent in Prayers
The labour Party (LP) woman leader for Oji River Local Government Area, Barrister Ugoeze Gbugu has urged the Governorship candidate of the party, Hon. Chijioke Edeoga and his deputy, John Nwokeabia, as well as other LP faithful in Enugu State, not to relent in prayers inspite of the current political development at the Tribunal.
Gbugu, who was one of the stars of the labour party faithful in Enugu State that toiled day and night to deliver the party in Oji River LGA during the last election, noted that it was not over until it is over.
Ugoeze Amanato as she is known gave kudos to the legal team of labour party at the Enugu State Election Tribunal for their commitment to retrieving the mandate the People of Enugu State freely gave to the Party and her candidate in Enugu State, Barrister Chijioke Jonathan Edeoga and his Deputy Governorship Candidate Dr John Okechukwu Nwokeabia during the last Governorship election on March 18, 2023.
She went further to acknowledge the manner the judiciary have been able to give hope to the common man insisting that they would ensure a level playing ground for both the Petitioners and Respondents in the quest for a new Nigeria considering the kind of expectations by the people.
According to her, there was high expectations for a new Nigeria from both Nigerian People and fellow African countries who looked up to Nigeria to take the lead in the socio economic and political development of the continent.
She said that the government of LP would usher in a new leadership idea in the state and soon become a reference point in the comity of states in Nigeria.
