A major Labour Party (LP) Stalwart and financier in Aninri local government area of Enugu State, Hon Celestine Chukwu has indicated interest to contest for the Aninri Chairmanship Position in the coming Local government area of Enugu Election coming up in February 2024.
In an exclusive interview with our Corespondent in Enugu, Hon Celestine Chukwu who played a major role in the success of labour Party in Enugu State during the last general election noted that he is in the race to solve the lecadership problem in the local government that is the food basket of the state.
Aninri as the name implies should be able to feed the state and beyond but have been largely neglected by the leadership in the last two decades.
His priority area will be in Agriculture and security of lives and Property which is the greatest challenge facing the Council Area.
Hon Celestine Chukwu who has engaged the Youths and the indigent widows, Children in productive skills acquisition is Poised to take Aninri to a new height by keying into the labour Party mantra of moving from consumption to production is well prepared to give Aninri local government area a new lease of live from the current state of affairs.
He is a focused party leader that has ensured that the party is the choice of the moment in the area.Going by the Stakeholders who are in agreement with his manifesto it is obvious that he will take the council area to a new level if he is given the mandate during the February local government election in Enugu State.
