
The Igbo-Etiti Local Government Area Chairman Enugu State, Dr Eric Odo, has lauded Gov. Peter Mbah on development in Enugu North senatorial zone.
Odo praised the governor on Friday during an event tagged “Vote of Gratitude” organised by Coalition of Progress, Enugu North Senatorial Zone Branch at the Adada House in Nsukka, Enugu State
He assured the governor of Nsukka peoples’ continuous support.
According to the council boss, Gov. Mbah had greatly favoured the zone despite not getting enough votes from the zone during the last general elections.
He, however, promised that the mistake would be corrected in the 2027 election.
He said that the Nsukka senatorial zone is the greatest beneficiary of the ongoing infrastructural projects in the state, which included Smart schools.
” Type-III Primary Health Centres, Farm Estates, the dualisation of Enugu – Ugwuogo – Opi road and the construction of major bus terminals.among others,
” I believed the governor favored this zone more than every others,
“We have every reason to say thank you, we have every reason to say well done,” he said.
On his part, the Coordinator, Coalition of Progress Enugu North Senatorial Zone Branch, Chinedu Onu, said the event was to appreciate the governor for not neglecting Nsukka zone.
“This coalition is made up of individuals and organisations, who are happy with Governor Mbah’s performance,” he said.
The council chairman of Nsukka LGA Mr Jude Asogwa said the governor had outperformed beyond the expectation of the people.
He added that the six council chairmen in the zone were strongly behind Mbah’s administration.
