He described the accident as painful and sad, stressing the need for his administration to commence enforcement of Luxuy buses to

“I know there is a permanent park for them and they need to go and the time is now and not later.
“From tomorrow, we will commence inspection and investigation to find out any building or transport company that has fuel or gas dump and it will be stopped.
“This enforces the need for all filling stations or loading base to be shut down because the accident is just waiting to happen.
“This is an eye opener and it is a pity that this happened and we are going to do something, thank God that no life was lost,”he said.
Wogu said that he told the fire officer, Mr Belenta to investigate and find out the real cause of the fire, adding that the cause might not be far from diesel.
“As you can see, people are scooping diesel from the drainage, which means there is a dump in such a crowded area,” the chairman said.
He said that it was mandated for all company even residential buildings to have a fire extinguisher.
“Though I do not know how the fire started but if the fire start on a low scale the fire extinguisher can serve the purpose but this one is beyond fire extinguisher,” Wogu said.
