The State Chairman of Inter Party Advisory Council Enugu State Hon Nze Edwin Ikechukwu Alor has debunked the emergence of a new State Executive of Council.
In a Strong worded Petition Sent to National Council and the State Governor His Excellency Dr Peter MBAH, Hon ALOR noted that the misrepresentation in a section of the Media that the State IPAC has elected a new Executive, that it was necessary to inform his Excellencys office the true state of affairs contrary to the claim that the new IPAC Executives were elected on the 15th of February 2024,
I wish to State that in the course of accreditation of members at the venue of the election,a letter was received from the the National Chairman of IPAC Engr Yabagi Yusuf Sani countermanding the election as he did not authorize any electoral Committee to conduct election in the thirty six states of the federation including the federal Capital.
The disclaimer found validation in an extant order of the federal high court of the FCT Abuja in a suit number FCT/HC/CV/769/2023 which vested the management of the council to Engr Yabagi Yusuf Sani led National Executive Committee.
The Position as encapsulated in the notice of disclaimer issued by the National is that at the expiration of the current Executive, they would continue to manage the affairs of the council in the State in line with the court order.
Consequently the Petition notes that the State leadership of IPAC remains intact under the Chairmanship of Hon Edwin Ikechukwu Alor.
