Eze made this known in a statement released to newsmen on Monday in Nsukka, Enugu State.
He said his decision to join the NDC was anchored on his believe that the party boasts of credible leadership.
“With the presence of leaders like Peter Obi, Kwankwaso, and Seriake Dickson, all former Governors, the party has people of proven integrity; so, I strongly believe that the NDC is the ideal party for me, ” he said.
Eze, popularly known as “Bridge Builder” urged his supporters to join him in NDC, as they embarked on rebuilding confidence and hope in Nigeria’s electoral system.
He said that the time has come for the people of Enugu North senatorial zone to come together to elect a credible leader to represent them.
According to him, the NDC is the only credible alternative platform that will give the electorate free choice to choose credible and good leaders that can lead them to the land of promise.
“With leaders like Peter Obi, NDC will surely rescue Nigeria and her democracy; so, my good people of Enugu North senatorial zone join me, let’s work together and deliver our zone, ” Eze said.
