The Management of Enugu Air has confirmed that one of its aircraft experienced a runway incursion after landing at Benin Airport on Thursday, July 23,2026 .
It however, said all the passengers and crew members were evacuated safely without injuries or casualties.
In a public notice made available to Newsmen on Thursday in Enugu, the airline’s management said the aircraft had been secured while the relevant aviation authorities have been notified in accordance with established procedures.
Enugu Air disclosed that an assessment of the aircraft and the circumstances surrounding the incident is currently underway to determine the cause of the runway incursion.
The management further disclosed that the incident could result in temporary adjustments to some flight schedules, adding that affected passengers would be contacted directly and provided with the necessary assistance.
It reaffirmed its commitment to safety of its passengers, crew, while its operations remain its highest priority.
The airline operators pledged to keep the public informed through its official communication channels as investigations progress.

Dear Valued Passengers,
Enugu Air wishes to inform the public that one of our aircraft operating into Benin experienced a runway incursion after landing today.
We confirm that all passengers and crew have safely disembarked and there were no injuries or casualties.
The aircraft has been secured and the relevant aviation authorities have been notified in line with established procedures. An assessment of the aircraft and the circumstances surrounding the occurrence is currently underway.
As a result, there may be temporary adjustments to some flight schedules. Passengers affected by any changes will be contacted directly and provided with the necessary assistance.
