TO DARE IS TO LOSE ONE’S FOOTING MOMENTARILY; NOT TO DARE AT ALL IS TO LOSE ONESELF”
Compliments of the season my dear friends,
During the course of our political struggle to liberate our people from god-fatherisim in the politics of Enugu state, I was amazed by the extraordinary possibilities in ordinary people.
They said it was impossible. They said we didn’t have the resources to go all the way. They said we couldn’t win even one seat in the State House of Assembly. They said we didn’t have the structure ….but we won the governorship election in the polls!!!
First let me thank my Boss, my Leader, H.E. Bar Chijioke Edeoga who without him, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to offer my services to the good people of Enugu State.
I personally thank the pillars of our great Party (whose names I may not mention here), our Party executives across board, and our super stakeholders.
In the same vein, I thank you my dear compatriots for all your support during our campaign, election, and court process.
You were all busy with many other obligations, yet you made out time, contributed money, and expertise to make Labour Party a movement in Enugu state.
We, the people, have been able to tell the truth to power. The era of political selection or “ojebego” syndrome is gone in Enugu State.
We, the people, have been able to prove that true political power belongs to the people.
We, the people, have changed the political narratives in Enugu State. Indeed, power belongs to the people and kudos to you.
We may be disappointed with the Supreme Court ruling. We can only accept it, that is why they are Supreme.
However, We should be proud of what we have achieved together (without State funding) within a short period of time.
So, let your heads be held high, let your walk be that of a victorious king because the heaven and earth knows that we won the governorship election in Enugu State but was robbed of it.
To our elected Labor Party representatives, I enjoin you to stay steadfast to our common goal and the vision of our great party. A lot in terms of leadership is expected from you. He who much is given, much is expected. Never disconnect with the people. They are the reason we are where we are.
To our esteemed Party Executives at all levels, Stakeholders, Party faithfuls all over, we are not helpless. The fire is still burning.
I urge you to keep the lights on, sustain the party from ward level, continue to stay together as one big family in the aspiration for a better Enugu state as the nerve center of the southeast. Be hopeful the future is bright for Labour Party in Enugu State.
Once again, I thank you all as we could not have come this far without you.
Merry Christmas and a wonderful new year ahead.

You have said it all.
The best horse may not always win the race, accident nay occur .
As you said. let’s be steadfast at all times, God being on our side.
Merry Christmas and a happy new year.
