Cross River govt charges contractors to speed up work on British Canadian school ahead commissioning

Sen. Stephen Odey, Executive Chairman of Criss River State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has charged Contractors handling the British Canadian International Model School Obudu to speed up work ahead of it’s planned commissioning by Gov. Ben Ayade.
Odey gave the charge in Obudu while inspecting the progress of work in the school.
He said he was pleased with the quality of work done and informed the contractor handling the project of the givernor’s desire to commission the model school within the first quarter of 2022.
“I am pleased with the quality of work you have done but you have to expedite action in order to complete this work within the first quarter of 2022, so that, His Excellency will come for the commissioning, ” he said.
Responding, the project manager, Engr Clifford Oyama assured the chairman of the readiness of the company deliver the project on schedule.
It would be recalled Send. Odey was recently reappointed after a brief stinct in the Senate, as Senator representing Cross River North.
He was in Obudu on an inspection/monitoring tour of Public Primary Schools across the State.
